Patents

We have a portfolio of intellectual property, patents granted, and patents pending, on various magnetic lighting technologies and products, as well as innovations in wind turbines, UV water treatment systems and other green technologies.  Products incorporating our patented technology, as well as non-related products covered by our patents are available for licensing on a per-territory or per-country basis - please inquire.

NOTE: As our Intellectual Property is licensed on a per-territory or per-country basis, not all of the IP listed here may be available for licensing in your area.

Patents Granted

ULTRAVIOLET WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

USA Patent Number: 7,002,140
Granted: February 21, 2006
Assigned to:  Fibro Light

Summary:  A system utilizing a projected UV light source which is optically concentrated into an integrated chamber, with internal focusing, for water or other transparent fluid disinfection and treatment.

ULTRAVIOLET WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

Canadian Patent Number: CA 2477029
Granted: 2008-04-08
Assigned to:  Fibro Light

Summary:  A system for water or other transparent fluid disinfection and treatment treatment using an external UV light source where the UVC radiation is optically coupled into the treatment chamber by means of a quartz rod so as to mitigate heat transmission into the fluid to be treated.

Patents Pending

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEALED, CONTROLLED BEAM-SPREAD, ELECTRODELESS INDUCTION LAMPS FOR USE IN STREET LIGHTING AND OTHER CONTROLLED BEAM-SPREAD APPLICATIONS

Summary: A novel, internal inductor type, induction lamp; manufactured in a sealed configuration with an integrated first-surface reflector and various lens configurations' designed to produce a beam-spread pattern which meets Type II & III requirements for use in roadway lighting applications.  The lamp is immune to moisture, dust/dirt and insect ingress and is designed for high optical output efficiency.
Alternate embodiments to produce various controlled beam-spread patterns, such as spotlights, are also possible and examples are provided in the patent application.

Status: Patent pending - Available for licensing.

INDUCTION LAMP SUPPORT BRIDGE WITH INTEGRAL HEAT-SINK AND OPTICAL ANGLE ADJUSTMENT FOR WALLPACK FIXTURES

Summary: A support bridge designed to mount the lamp and reflector in a wallpack fixture shell using an attachment method which allows these components to be withdrawn as a unit for the convenience of the installer/electrician.  The bridge contains an integrated heat-sink to keep lamp inductor operating temperatures in the correct range, and has a method of tilting the assemble for optical angle adjustment to increase light output into the desired direction.

Status: Patent pending - Available for licensing.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXTREME HIGH EFFICIENCY INDUCTION LIGHTING FIXTURES WITH INTEGRATED THERMAL MANAGEMENT.

Summary: An apparatus embodied as a fixture deign containing one or more induction lamps and a sensor designed to significantly reduce energy consumption in lighting applications. The fixtures combine an integrated heat-sink, and other thermal management technologies, to keep lamp inductor operating temperatures in the correct range thus insuring stable operation and extended lifespan.

Status: Patent pending - NAFTA License granted to GreenTech Fixtures Inc, other territories available.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ELECTRODELESS INDUCTION LAMPS, WITH REPLACEABLE LAMP CAPSULES, FOR STREET LIGHTING AND OTHER FIXTURE RETRO-FIT APPLICATIONS, TO REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION.

Summary: An electrodeless induction lamp embodiment whereby the lamp capsule is replicable and can be of different form factors such as used in street-lighting applications of a reflectorized form-factor for use in spotlighting applications.  The invention offers the advantage of replacing the lamp capsule so as to better utilize the lifespan of the driving electronics which can typically outlast the lifetime of the lamp capsule by two to three times.

Status: Patent pending - NAFTA and China Licenses under active  negotiations.
